District level dialogue and debate program held

Under the ELP project of INSEC to make the community responsible by awareness and accountability, a dialogue program between service provider and receiver has been organized in Ghorahi on June 4.

Speaking at the program teachers complained about book shortages, lack of disabled friendly schools and lack of teachers as per their post. They also demanded to provide sanitary pad to female students as they miss school during their menstrual period.

Speaking at the program school inspector Bishnu Prasad Panthi said that the shortage of book is a nationwide problem however coordination is being made with District Education Officer for the supply of books. He added that the teaching must not be stopped due to the lack of books. A different method of teaching can be applied to the students, he added.

Similarly, he said that the education office is always committed on improving education sector.
