Door-to-Door health campaign held at Bagnashkali Rural Municipality, Palpa

Door-to-door health campaigns organized for the senior citizen and physically disable people of ward no. seven; Bagnashkali Rural Municipality in the initiation of human right watch group and coordination with health center program HRWG organized meetings with the stakeholders and discussed on the issues than make their action plan.

During first day of campaign, 50 senior citizens of above 60 years old age belongs from Bagnashkali ward 1 and 2 got health checkup, health counseling and medicine services.

 These types of campaign support such people to get services facilities at their home. Coordinator shared the information that, in the fiscal year different kinds of medicines including medicine of sugar and blood presser will distribute free in cost from all the health post of rural municipality.

INSEC district representative Yaggya Murti said that, in present situation, youth of the community were migrated to abroad for employment opportunity; senior citizens only remain in the community in such a context, when volunteers and health workers reached in the community, public express happy and feel helpful. In the campaign health workers, local representatives, female health volunteers, human rights watch group members were mobilized.
