Review Meeting and Action Plan on Human Rights

Informal Sector Service Centre (INSEC) Province 2 Office Janakpurdham has organized a meeting with Chandrapur Municipal Human Rights Monitoring Group and stakeholders to identify the problems and identify stakeholders and formulate action plans. The meeting also discussed the issue of lobbying for solutions in the areas of education, health, housing, and the right to food in Chandrapur Municipality under the project of making the stakeholders accountable by making the local community aware. Prem Kumari Timalsina, a member of the Human Rights Monitoring Group, said that about 70 percent of the problems of the area were solved when the meetings were held in the targeted area.

Human rights watch group’s member Saraswati Khulal expressed her happiness regarding the human rights campaign oriented activities of INSEC. Focal Person of INSEC Province 2 Barun Bashyal facilitated the work being carried out by the project and its effectiveness and formulation of the future action plan. Coordinator of INSEC Province 2 Office Raju Paswan said that INSEC was always ready to provide justice to the victims by lobbying with the local government and the province and central governments.
